These crash bungs are swing arm pivot mounted and fit the Yanaha R1 2004-2006 . Made in two parts, these crash bobbins have a 6082 aluminium housing that attaches the unit to the bike pivot shaft, on the l/h side by removing the main nut on the shaft and re-fitting it when the housing is in place on the threaded end of the shaft for a secure fitment. On the r/h side using the exspanding fitting supplied, fitted in the through hole in the shaft. Once attached the high impact polyethylene insert screws into place with a coarse thread for added strength and an M6 locking screw for added security.
